Feast Strong Week 2

CVO1.jpg

Due to Covid-19, Feast Fitness is temporarily closed. However, we will continue to support our community of humble and gritty athletes ONLINE and AT-HOME. We are #feaststrong!

Monday 3/30/20

13 Minute AMRAP:
20 Single Arm Hang Clean & Jerk
30 Russian Twists
40 Jumping Jacks

*Hang Clean & Jerk can be performed with a Dumbbell, Kettlebell, small backpack stuffed with water bottles, or whatever else you got with a handle.

Hang onto the Dumbbell or Kettlebell for all 20 reps. The Russian Twists are unweighed so look to crank through those. Who would have ever thought— Jumping Jacks in a CrossFit workout????? Do a full clap overhead for yourself, and let’s see how this goes!

Feast Members be sure to see SugarWOD for complete daily programming (including mobility, CHoWs, skill work, etc.)

For Total Time:
10 Down to 1:
Burpees
Alternating Single Arm Snatch

Directly into…

1 Up to 10:
V Ups
Air Squats x2

Stay steady throughout. Look to hang onto the Snatches for unbroken reps but don’t be afraid to pace out the first few sets of burpees. Once you get to the back half of this piece it will be all about transitions. Getting off the ground and ready to squat quickly will be important.

Friday 4/3/20

For Total Reps:
Death By Push Ups
Minute 1: 1 Push Up
Minute 2: 2 Push Ups
Minute 3: 3 Push Ups
Minute 4: 4 Push Ups
etc…
Directly Into
Death By Air Squats:
Minute 1: 1 Air Squat
Minute 2: 2 Air Squats
Minute 3: 3 Air Squats
Minute 4: 4 Air Squats
etc..

Continue increasing by one reap until you can not complete the amount of prescribed number of reps within the minute. There is no break between Push Ups and Air Squats. For example, if I were to fail in the 10th minute of Push Ups my 11th minute would start my first round of Air Squats . . . starting back at 1 repetition and increasing by one each minute.

Be smart about how you break the push ups. Small chunks early can pay off big in later rounds. As for the Air Squats, how much burn can you deal with? You can always do one more Air Squat…

Feast Members be sure to see SugarWOD for complete daily programming.
