Anti-Racism 100
ANTI RACISM 100
Healing Racist Policies Is a Marathon, Not a Sprint.
We intend to make that manifest on September 19-20, 2020, when Feast Coach Ryan Heywood runs 100 miles to raise money for, and awareness of, the Chicago Torture Justice Center, https://chicagotorturejustice.org/.
You read that right:
100 miles
in 24 hours
to raise money to help heal the legacy of racist policies.
We’re asking you to help with this incredible effort. How?
First, check out the flier for additional details: Anti Racism 100
Second, sign up to run some or all of a 10 mile lap with Ryan, or to meet him at the end of a lap to cheer him on, through this link: Register Here
Third, order your t-shirt for the event here: T-Shirt Order Form
Fourth, donate to CTJC through this link: Donate
Fifth, attend a Zoom Panel with survivors of police brutality, moderated by Feast member and police accountability activist Thara Nagarajan, on Wed, Sept 16, from 6:30 - 8:30pm through this link, Meeting ID: 358 403 062, Passcode: 120669: Zoom Panel
There is so much work and healing to be done that we risk being overwhelmed.
We urge you not to succumb to inaction.
To quote Dr. King, “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take that first step."
